Payments in the event of a default
Rickman Properties may require a tenant to make a payment in the event of a relevant default.
A relevant default means:
1. The loss of a key to, or other security device giving access to, the property to which the tenancy relates. Rickman Properties can charge a tenant a fee to cover the cost of replacing the lost key or security device.
2. Failure to make a payment of rent in full only before the end of 14 calendar days beginning with date the rent is due as written in the tenancy agreement. The charge will be 3% above Bank of England base rate in interest on the late payment of rent for each day that the payment is outstanding.
Water consumption is based on average water usage for the predicted occupancy of the property based on the number of bedrooms.
Total annual consumption (in cubic meters) is then averaged into a monthly cost.
Note: If you have 2 separate suppliers for water and sewage, you may receive 2 separate bills.
