Bright and airy three bedroomed town house within the walls of Canterbury City Centre. The entranceway is on the ground floor. Going up to the first floor you enter an open plan kitchen with breakfast bar, diner and living space with double doors leading to a Juliet balcony. Also on the first floor is WC and large storage cupboard. The second floor has two good sized double bedrooms, a family bathroom and storage. Finally, on the third floor, you have an extra-large master bedroom with en-suite, built-in wardrobe, TV and phone sockets and storage. Unusually for the city centre, the property offers an allocated parking space in the car port next to the entranceway. Behind the car port is a storage space for bicycles leading to a secluded outside seating area with decking.
Built in oven, gas hob, fridge and freezer are provided in the kitchen, sofas in the living room and curtains/blinds throughout. The property benefits from gas central heating and double glazing. You are provided with a key to the private gated garden with Cathedral views, seating beside the river and a children’s play park to one side. The garden and surrounding streets are beautifully maintained.
Creine Mill Lane South is on the south side of the Old Tannery development and is surprisingly quiet for so central a location. The property is 6-12 minutes’ walk to both Canterbury East Station and Canterbury West Station with easy access onto the A2 to London. This is an excellent location for those with children, being within an easy distance of Canterbury’s primary and secondary comprehensive and grammar schools. Being so central and with such good transport links, the house would also be ideal for professional or a small family. Creine Mill Lane South leads onto the river where you can follow the river pathway to the Westgate Gardens and Todler’s Cove play park or cross over the bridge into the town centre with its cafés, shops and restaurants. The award-winning Goods Shed is 10 minutes’ walk away, next to Canterbury West Station.
