Located within the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Stow-on-the-Wold is a charming market town which provides specialist shops, banks, library, doctor’s surgery, veterinary surgery and a supermarket. It is also well located for Daylesford Organics and the exclusive leisure amenities of Soho Farmhouse.

The town is strategically located just off the north/south Fosse Way and near to the A40/M40 to London and the A44 Oxford to Worcester east/west trunk road. Oxford and Cheltenham are both very accessible and the area is well served by excellent hotels and restaurants.

There are mainline railway stations at Moreton-in-Marsh and Kingham which service London Paddington, Oxford, Worcester and Hereford.


A Grade II listed cottage dating back to the 18th century. Steeped with character features it was previously used as a holiday let and is presented to a high standard.

The accommodation is arranged over three floors, on the ground floor is a flagstone hallway off of which is the sitting room and the kitchen / dining room. The kitchen is well equipped with range cooker, hob, fridge, freezer, wine cooler, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. The kitchen has beautiful features including an exposed Cotswold stone wall and flagstone floor. Natural light flows in from the orangery roof, window and the patio doors which lead out to the walled courtyard garden. Off the hallway is also a downstairs WC.

On the first floor are bedrooms one and two, the back bedroom has a super king size bed and the front bedroom is the master bedroom which has a king size bed, built in wardrobes and is next to the family bathroom. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, a toilet and a wash basin.

An old door on the landing hides the stairs to the top floor which has a further two bedrooms. The loft bedroom has a super king size bed and clothes rail. Bedroom four is connected to the master bedroom and is a smaller bedroom with restricted head height but perfect for children as it has two single beds. If the beds were removed the room would also lend itself well to being a study / dressing room. Both rooms have exposed feature beams.

Outside is the courtyard garden with seating area. There is no allocated parking but free unrestricted parking is available to the front of the cottage on a first come first served basis.
