Description

Property Reference: 1005872.

We are proud to offer this stunning and unique country retreat for short-term rental, ideal for key workers.

Available to move in immediately, this beautiful space is cosy and comfortable, perfect for a couple or individual needing to be based near Truro or Falmouth.

Buzzard Outlook is a stylish little gem which perfectly blends contemporary luxe with a glorious rural location, set in rolling open countryside.

Situated in the hamlet of Porth Kea, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, its location is in easy reach of both city and coast. The tiny cathedral city of Truro; Cornwall's administrative, leisure and retail capital is less than 2 miles away, just an 8-minute drive away, while the bustling, lively coastal town of Falmouth is just 20 minutes by car. The property is also close to the beautiful backwaters of Coombe and Cowlands Creek, with the picturesque hidden gem of Roundwood Quay also very close by. This incredible location makes Buzzard Outlook perfect, whether you are looking to work in the area, or whether you are attracted by the incredible walking, cycling and proximity to nature which this magical retreat offers.

The space

This very special detached retreat is surrounded by lush Cornish countryside. Recently built to the highest of standards to resemble a bird-watching hide, it offers accommodation all on one level, comprising a stylish open plan living space with a fully fitted kitchen and dining area, and a generously sized en-suite bedroom. The living area is flooded with natural light, and the thoughtful design throughout only serves to increase this feeling of an exceptionally light and airy space, with a modern yet cosy feel.

The kitchen is well-equipped and includes a dishwasher, microwave, oven with ceramic hob, toaster, cafetière and coffee machine.

The sitting area comes complete with a wood burning stove for those cooler evenings, a double seater sofa with footstool and a flatscreen smart TV, with free Wi-Fi and Netflix.

The bedroom accommodates a comfortable king-size bed and flatscreen smart TV, with a lovely contemporary en-suite shower room with rainfall shower.

A washing machine and tumble dryer is housed in the garage directly below the accommodation. Surfboards, kayaks and bikes can also be stored here.

Outside space

The decking area and granite steps leading to the terrace above with barbecue is for the private use of the residents of Buzzard Outlook. Please note though that the garden beyond this is private, belonging to the owners.

Parking:

On arrival and throughout your stay, please drive up towards the house at the top of the driveway and use the turning circle to turn your car around before parking for ease.

You will spot the Buzzard Outlook parking bay on your right (or left, weather dependent - please ask) as you come up the driveway. The road beyond the property is a no through road and a private road.

Please get in touch if this property is of interest, but do act now as this fabulous space will be much in demand.

We stayed during wet weather, venturing out for walks before coming back to warm up in the gorgeous rainfall shower, cooking hearty meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and relaxing in the cosy living space."
