Walthamstow Central Location
A real unicorn of a one-bedroom house in a fantastic central spot. Filled with natural light, this is a rare find indeed, with everything in its right place inside and out. Even rarer, you've got a driveway as well as a garden – altogether making for the perfect spot to start your life in Walthamstow.
Not even a quarter of a mile from Walthamstow Central Station, this perfectly-formed pad is handy for absolutely everything, from pubs and restaurants to the nine-screen Empire cinema. It’s barely any further in the other direction to Lloyd Park, so you’re just a stroll away from gorgeous green space too.
If you lived here...
You’ll walk up the two-car driveway, which sets the house beautifully back from the road, and enter straight into the cool and calm space of the 175 square foot living room. Oak effect laminate flooring sets off the pleasing off-white walls, there’s room to relax and to eat, with space for a good-sized table. To the left, an elegant archway leads you into the bright, neutral kitchen, with a window that lets in plenty of light and gives you a view of the garden. Tons of cupboard and drawer space means there’s a place for everything, and the floor is tiled in a warm woody shade that complements the worktops.
Back through the living room and past the generously-proportioned bay window, there’s a neat and curved open staircase leading you up to the bedroom and bathroom. No compromise necessary in the bathroom, where you’ll find a bath for long soaks as well as an over-bath shower. The suite is classic white, and there’s large format great tiling throughout. There’s a window here too, double-glazed to keep you toasty.
The bedroom is a perfect 100 square foot double, with that same laminate flooring underfoot, and more of the kind of natural light you can’t put a price on. Finally, back down the stairs, there’s the outside space - not only the driveway, but a secure faux grass garden accessible from there by a gate. A brilliant 20-foot blank canvas framed by wood fencing and red brick wall, it’s barbecue-ready whenever you are.
What else?
- You’ll enjoy the charm you only get from a Victorian property, and it’s an end terrace with all the advantages of being effectively semi-detached.

- Right around the corner on Hoe Street is your new local, the unique theatre and community pub Ye Olde Rose & Crown – a truly special local institution, with lots of events and the camra stamp of approval.

A word from the expert...
“I have worked in Walthamstow for over 10 years, and I still enjoy the buzz in the area. From the scene in Walthamstow Central which offers Collab, Gokyuzu and the Empire cinema. Take a short stroll to the famous William Morris gallery which is located on the popular Lloyd Park surrounded by beautiful green scenery. Walthamstow Village has been a popular trend for me over the years with its bubbly night life and quirky pubs. My personal favourite is The Village Pub.
There are four trains stations in Walthamstow. Walthamstow Central, Wood Street, Blackhorse Road and Walthamstow Queens Road. I have commuted to and from Central London from Walthamstow Train Station which takes less than 20 minutes so I can see why Walthamstow has the nickname ‘awesomestow’”.
