We're a family of 3 that are looking for a lodger to rent a double room in our house in Penryn.

About us / our situation:

We both work in the creative industries and have a 2 year-old. We spend a lot of time working remotely in London and come back to the house for weekends and holidays (Summer / Easter / Christmas etc).

About the house / room:

The house is in the middle of Penryn and walking distance to restaurants, cafes, pubs, woods and the river at the bottom of the hill. We've spent the past 18 months renovating inside and out to make a light, open home that we love!

The room is a bright, good sized double with bed / clothes rack and has a nice window seat that overlooks Flushing. Obviously you are free to put pictures up / add furniture to the room only.

The downstairs is largely open plan with sliding doors onto the garden. It has a good sized kitchen and new appliances - fridge / freezer, dishwasher, electric oven / hob. We also have a downstairs loo and underfloor heating.

Upstairs has the main bathroom with shower / bath and also washer / dryer.

Outside we have a South-West facing garden which gets hot in the summer and large patio / BBQ, compost bin etc. We also have private parking. We've spent the last 6 months turning the garden into somewhere that we really love spending time. If you're into gardening too that would be great!

We also have lovely neighbours all around us.

What we're looking for / things to be aware of:

- Someone that is happy to share with a family
- Someone that is chilled / considerate
- Someone that looks after the place and cleans regularly. No parties
- Unfortunately we can't have pets our son is very allergic
- The room is single occupancy
- We don't have any usable storage in the house
- Mature students considered

Costs / bills / time:

- £800 per month incl. Bills
- We're looking for someone from 15th September for 12 months roughly, could be longer. We can give someone a tenancy agreement too.

We can arrange viewings of the house and would really like to meet people over Zoom etc.
