Location
0 x 0 - Thringstone is a village in North West Leicestershire and approx 3 miles north of Coalville. Local interest is that it is home to the former Gracedieu priory which still exists as ruins and was part of a Conservation project in 2005. The ruins are also home to the mystical White Lady with a comprehensive record of sightings dating back to 1926 and refer to similarities of shared sightings and descriptions of the apparition hovering on the opposite side to the priory. The village itself has a community centre which offers a range of activities including a well regarded pantomime society, local playgroup and other popular events and has a local fish and chip shop and convenience store. The Village is supported by the arriva bus company with buses into Coalville and Loughborough.
