Room 5 is a lovely compact bedroom on the attic floor of the house with a double bed. It features a Velux window with black out blind that opens to allow a cooling breeze into the room.

The room has use of a shared shower room with one other room only. Only 2 people use the bathroom making it almost as convenient as an ensuite. Being an attic room there is reduced head room - not recommended for tall students!

Downstairs is a large kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer, 2 ovens and a large 5-ring hob. Each student has 2 private cupboards for their food plus there are also shared plates, glasses and saucepans if you need them.

Castle Homes will undertake referencing checks on all applicants over the age of 18 wishing to move into a rental property. As part of this process, we will undertake:
• A credit check to ensure each applicant does not have any adverse credit such as CCJs (County Court Judgements).
• An affordability assessment to ensure each applicant’s income will sufficiently cover the rental payments.
• To pass the affordability check, tenants must have an annual income of 2.5 times the annual rent. Ie if the rent is £500 per month, you would need an income of £15,000 per year or greater.
• Each applicant’s affordability is assessed individually against the criteria. However, couples who have previously co-habited, are married or are in a civil partnership will have their incomes combined and assessed jointly.
• Self- will require an accountant’s reference and should have accounts for a minimum of two years.
• Employment checks to confirm your start date, salary and if your position is permanent.
• A Landlord reference (if you are currently residing in rented accommodation) confirming you have abided by the terms of the lease.
• ‘Right to rent’ id checks.
