•1287 Andrew Le Yaerdling rented a smallholding in Tye Green Village namely Jeans Yardlings.
•Mention in Handwritten notes of Walter Thomas (Rector of Netteswell 1581-1607)
•January 2005 - David Devine Harlow Museum: "It is essentially a 15th Century House, The hall, First floor chambers, the parlour and stairs date from the 17th Century. Mention is made of a
large number of reused timbers of late Medieval or Tudor date.
