Spacious & bright one-bedroom Victorian flat with private terrace - 1 minute from Seven Sisters
A spacious, bright and characterful one-bedroom raised ground-floor flat in an attractive Victorian conversion on Page Green Terrace, just 60 seconds' walk from Seven Sisters Underground and Overground stations.
One of the nicest things about the flat is that, despite being so incredibly well connected, it feels surprisingly quiet and green. It sits on a quieter, semi-private residential road, and the rear of the property overlooks neighbouring gardens, giving it a peaceful feel that you wouldn't necessarily expect from such a central location.
The flat
We are offering a particularly spacious one-bedroom flat with a large separate reception room, offering excellent flexibility for home working and occasional guests. The flat has high ceilings, lots of natural light, wooden floors throughout and plenty of original Victorian character.
The large reception/living room is one of its best features, with beautiful bay windows, original wooden shutters and original wooden flooring.
The bedroom is a generous size, with a very large fitted wardrobe offering lots of storage, king sized bed, as well as a large window looking out over the gardens at the rear.
There is a separate kitchen and a bathroom with a full-size bath and shower over the bath. The flat also has unusually good storage for a one-bedroom property, including a utility/storage cupboard and dedicated space for suitcases and other larger items.
At the rear is a private terrace overlooking the neighbouring gardens. It gets plenty of sunshine during the day and is a lovely, peaceful spot for breakfast, drinks, plants, reading or a barbecue in the warmer months.
The flat can be offered part-furnished or furnished depending on the tenant's requirements. It currently includes a king-size bed, extra-large fitted wardrobe, comfortable sofa bed, TV cabinet, shoe cabinet and additional storage. A dining table and chairs are not currently included but can be discussed.
Excellent transport links
For anyone who needs to travel around London regularly, the location is particularly convenient.
Seven Sisters Underground and Overground stations are approximately one minute from the front door. The Victoria line gives you fast, direct connections to King's Cross St Pancras, Oxford Circus and Victoria, making both Central London and the West End very easy to reach.
The Overground provides direct connections towards East London and Liverpool Street, as well as useful links across North and West London. Stoke Newington is 10 minutes away by bike and 2 stops on the overground.
Tottenham Hale is just one stop away, where there are direct trains to Stansted Airport. King's Cross St Pancras is also only a few Victoria-line stops away, making the flat particularly convenient for Eurostar and national rail connections.
There are also numerous bus routes practically on the doorstep, with easy connections towards Stoke Newington, Dalston, Hackney and the City.
Green spaces & the local area
Despite the transport links, there is a surprising amount of greenery nearby.
Markfield Park and the River Lea are within walking distance, where you can join lovely waterside walking and cycling routes continuing towards Walthamstow Wetlands and Hackney Marshes. There are also some great places to stop along the river, particularly during the summer months.
Downhills Park and Lordship Recreation Ground are also nearby, with plenty of green space and outdoor facilities.
Seven Sisters and Tottenham have an ever-growing selection of independent cafes, restaurants, pubs and local businesses. Some of our favourites include Pasero and With Milk, with plenty of other cafes and places to eat around West Green Road and Philip Lane.
For everyday essentials, there is a large Tesco and a Sainsbury's within a few minutes' walk, as well as plenty of smaller local shops.
Other nearby places include Stronghold Climbing Centre, Tottenham Retail Park and the breweries, cafes and creative spaces around Tottenham and Blackhorse Road, which is only two stops away on the Victoria line.
Parking
On-street parking is available directly around the property and in the surrounding streets. Residents can apply for a Haringey Council parking permit, subject to the council's eligibility and permit requirements.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for a respectful Single occupant preferred or professional couple who would like to make the flat their home, enjoy the space and look after it as if it were their own. While the tenancy will be offered on a rolling basis in line with the current rental legislation, our preference is to find someone who is looking for a longer-term home rather than a short-term let. Our previous tenants have tended to stay for around three to four years, and we'd love to find someone who will be equally happy here.
We are private landlords who live locally and genuinely care about the flat and keeping it well maintained. In return, we aim to be approachable, responsive and available should any problems or questions arise.
If you're looking for somewhere with lots of space and character, your own sunny outdoor terrace, excellent transport links and greenery nearby, while still being extremely quick to get into Central and East London, this could be a lovely place to call home.
The flat is available from 1st November, although there may be some flexibility for a slightly earlier or later move-in date for the right tenant.
Viewings welcome - please get in touch and tell us a little about yourselves, your preferred move-in date and some dates/times that would suit you for a viewing.
