With modern double-glazing and excellent insulation, in the recent heatwaves it was routinely 10 degrees cooler than outdoors - which also makes it cosy in winter. Heating and hot water come from the main house, where the landlords live.

Pets: The garden fencing is not dog-proof. The landlords’ elderly dog is near-blind, deaf, and easily scared, and the shared driveway from the forest track passes their garden in front of their home. The landlords have a cat that sometimes walks through the garden.

The landlords live on site, with a shared driveway, though you have your own parking area for two cars.
