Feel at home in Blue Sky Cottage, a beautiful holiday home in the heart of Whitby, North Yorkshire. Sleeping up to five guests, this property offers a comfortable and homely base for exploring the coast. The cottage is located on the first floor and features three bedrooms and a family bathroom.

The welcoming living room features comfy sofas, two chairs, and a flat-screen TV, perfect for relaxing. The dining area includes a large wooden dining table and black leather chairs. The traditional kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and cookware for a self-catering stay. The master bedroom boasts a comfortable king-size bed, plush soft furnishings, a dressing table, and drawers. The second bedroom also features a king-size bed, and the third bedroom has a single bed. The family bathroom includes a bathtub with an overhead shower, WC, and basin. A peaceful and private courtyard is located to the rear of the property.

One well-behaved dog is welcome to stay at Blue Sky Cottage per reservation. Free on-street parking is available nearby on a first come, first served basis.

Set on the West side of Whitby, Blue Sky Cottage is just a short 10-minute walk into the center of town. Explore Pier Road for cozy pubs, fun arcades, and numerous fish restaurants, leading to the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach. Cross the swing bridge over the River Esk to discover the East bank with its narrow medieval streets, boutiques, and pubs. Climb the famous 199 steps to the Church of Saint Mary, or visit the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, inspiration for Bram Stoker's 'Dracula'. The surrounding area offers woodland and moorland within the North York Moors National Park, perfect for long walks.

Please note that the property is located at the top of a steep hill. Guests with limited mobility or those who may find steep walks difficult should take this into consideration before booking. Smoking and events are not allowed. Host & Stay requires all guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
