Harriet has specialised in personal finance journalism for more than a decade, covering property, finance, and consumer issues.

She has worked as editor of The Observer newspaper’s Cash section, alongside writing for a wide range of newspapers, magazines and websites as a freelance journalist. These include the Guardian, Money Observer, Moneywise, Investors Chronicle, The Independent on Sunday, House Beautiful, and many others.

She has written several columns, including ‘Money Talks’ for the former London Property section of the Daily Telegraph, and ‘Going Green’ on ethical finance for The Observer.

Harriet began her career as a reporter on the Daily Telegraph’s Your Money, before a stint producing BBC Radio Five Live’s Wake up to Money and Breakfast show, and business slots on Radio 4’s Today Programme.
