On instructions from the trustees for methodist church purposes and the colchester methodist circuit, we are instructed to sell A combined freehold and leasehold interest of the above buildings on A corner site. The church formally closed with A final service on 30 September 2018.

(1) The sale will be conducted on a Private Treaty basis with a long lease being agreed to cover the burial grounds(s).

(2) There are detailed requirements to close a burial ground as well as maintain those laid to rest there in the last 50 years.

(3) We are holding a copy of the last Quinquennial Report dated 13 December 2017 prepared by a local chartered surveyor. It may be viewed by prospective buyers but copies will not be authorised.

The property is located in the heart of the village within close proximity of a Co operative supermarket incorporating Post Office, public houses offering restaurant facilities, schooling for junior and infants at Heathlands, the Orpen Hall is a Meeting Hall with office and bar, and with adjoining sports fields and tennis courts.
