Description
Bletchley Manor is a historic Grade II Georgian and Jacobean manor house built in 1594 and has formerly won the best restoration category in Grand Designs. It offers fantastic views across pastureland, mature tress and a lake.

The fascinating manor house sits down a grand gated driveway, with ample parking surrounded by fields and countryside. The main entrance leads into a spacious hallway with flagstone tiles and underfloor heating, and a brick inglenook and wood burner. Character shows through the house from exposed beams, oak flooring and a good sized cellar. Into the spacious kitchen/dining room, there is a large stainless steel kitchen island central and matching worktops, and a range of fitted wall and base units, and open units. There is an oil aga two oven, and induction hob, along with a fridge freezer with a water dispenser. The open plan room follows to the dining room, which has a door with access to the outside. The utility and boot room has quarry tiles flooring and a recently new boiler.

Right from the entrance hall is the formal drawing room with French oak floorboards and stunning sash windows. There are two fireplaces, and two sets of French doors leading outside. A door at the end of the room leads into a beautiful garden room filled with natural light.

Across from here is the snug, currently used as an office with beautiful panelling wall features. There is a lovely wood burner with tile surround, and secondary glazed, dual aspect, sash windows. Carrying on with the oak floorboards into the cloakroom.

Stairs rise to the first floor, where there is the first spacious double bedroom, with an en suite and classic exposed beams. Bedroom two is named the 'Blue Room', and has characterful floorboards, stunning panelling, dual aspect windows and an en suite WC. 'The Library' is next, which is a fabulous area for relaxing, and could be used as another bedroom. There is a secret door hidden amongst a bookcase leading to the original attic bedrooms, where there is a further double bedroom with views out to the front and an suite bathroom, with a bath and heated towel rail.

There is also a family bathroom with a window seat, bath and separate shower, and vanity sink.

A quirky second staircase leads with views over the lake to a further double bedroom with a small landing area, a separate shower and exposed beams. There is a small sitting room, which could also be a bedroom. The spacious principal bedroom is gorgeous with triple aspect windows, showcasing the beautiful grounds and surrounding countryside, with an en suite bathroom with a shower and separate bath and vanity sink. There is also a dressing room adjacent.

Outside
Set in about 3.6 acres, situated down a long gated driveway lined with daffodils, to ample parking on a gravel drive with views to the lake, fields and beyond, alongside the parterre gardens. The parking continues to the side of the house where there is a chicken coup, raised beds, a poly tunnel, and landscaped gardens. The garden is full of colour from various flowers, including a stunning wisteria arbour walkway, and Victoria plums.

A door leads through to the formal gardens where there is a seating area and firepit, with Magnolia in the centre. The back garden leads from French doors in the drawing room out onto a patio with room for seating and al fresco dining.
