Description
Positioned in a quiet cul-de-sac within easy reach of the centre of the sought-after village of Exminster, this well-proportioned semi-detached chalet bungalow offers versatile accommodation arranged over two floors, extending to approximately 1,286 sq ft.
The ground floor is thoughtfully laid out, with an entrance hall leading through to a generous 17ft sitting room, providing a comfortable and inviting living space. To the rear, the kitchen/dining room is well-sized and ideally placed for day-to-day living, opening through to a substantial conservatory which spans the width of the property. This light-filled space enjoys a pleasant outlook over the garden and incorporates a practical utility area, enhancing its functionality.
On the ground floor is also a modern wet room, together with a separate home office which offers excellent flexibility and could equally serve as a fifth bedroom if required. An additional ground floor bedroom further enhances the adaptability of the accommodation.
On the first floor, the property continues to offer well-balanced space, with two particularly generous bedrooms, including a principal bedroom of notable proportions, alongside a further bedroom. On a practical note, there is additional storage with a generous linen cupboard, as well as a conveniently positioned WC on this floor.
Externally, the property is equally appealing. To the front, a driveway provides off-road parking for up to three vehicles, with an adjoining garden laid partly to lawn and complemented by a variety of established flowers and shrubs.
The rear garden is a standout feature, offering a high degree of privacy and a tranquil setting. A decked terrace provides an ideal space for outdoor dining and entertaining, leading onto a well-maintained lawn bordered by mature planting, including shrubs, ferns and rose bushes. At the far end of the garden, a charming wooden bridge crosses a small brook, creating a particularly picturesque and peaceful focal point.
