Pentland Homes - Terlingham Gardens, CT18
Perched on top of the North Downs at 508ft above sea level, Hawkinge provides stunning views of nearby Cheriton and Folkestone. Hawkinge is perhaps best known for the major role it played in defending our skies throughout World War 2, with RAF Hawkinge being the closest operational airfield to France. Today, however, life in Hawkinge is much more peaceful and down to earth.
The village boast thriving local shops, a church, community centre, cricket club, two riding schools and several local pubs in the locality. There is also a doctor's surgery and a dental practice. The weekly shop can be undertaken at a local supermarket or, a little further away, there is a Tesco Express convenience store.
